Privacy Policy

Waitlist: When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the timestamp of your submission. Nothing else.

App account: When you create an account in the PetTrip app, we collect your email address, a hashed password, and optionally a display name you set in your profile. Premium subscribers additionally provide payment information processed by Apple (StoreKit) — we never see or store payment details directly.

Pet profiles: Breed, species, name, and optionally a photo you upload. This data is stored locally on your device and, for registered users, synced to our database.

Usage data: We use Matomo Analytics (self-hosted) to measure anonymous website traffic. Matomo is configured in cookieless mode — no cookies are set and no persistent identifier is stored on your device. IP addresses are anonymised immediately and never stored in full.

• Email (waitlist): To notify you when PetTrip launches. Legal basis: your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Email (account): To authenticate you and send transactional messages (e.g. password reset). Legal basis: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Display name (optional): To personalise your in-app experience. You can change or remove it at any time in Settings → Edit Profile. Legal basis: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Pet profiles: To personalise route results and checklists for your specific pet. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Usage data (Matomo): To understand how visitors interact with our website and improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No personal data is processed; tracking is cookieless and fully anonymised.

The data is stored by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich, owned by René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, for users of our website at https://all-inkl.com. Storage remains within the EU.

WonderfulWebWorks LLC is based in the United States. Where any processing of your data occurs in the US (e.g. our internal tooling), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission as the legal transfer mechanism for EU/EEA personal data.

• Waitlist emails: Until you unsubscribe or PetTrip launches and we have notified you.
• Account data: Until you delete your account.
• Pet profiles & trip data: Until you delete them or your account.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from the waitlist)
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

• Apple App Store / StoreKit — payments for Premium (privacy policy)
• Google Fonts — fonts loaded on this website (privacy policy)
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim / OSRM — geocoding & routing in the app (no account data sent)

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States. Where mandatory EU/EEA data protection laws (including the GDPR) apply to your use of the service, those laws take precedence to the extent required by applicable law.

PetTrip allows registered users to submit reviews and corrections for places (e.g. vets, pet shops). By contributing content, you agree to the following:

• Content must be accurate, honest, and relevant to the listed place.
• Hateful, abusive, discriminatory, or spam content is not permitted.
• Do not post personal data of other individuals without their consent.
• All submitted content is subject to moderation before it is published.

Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal and permanent account suspension. To report abusive content, use the report function in the app or contact us at hello@pettrip.app.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email (for registered users) or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
